“Mehbooba” is out and it’s making 90’s kids nostalgic
It’s finally happening, you guys! Xulfi never disappoints, and once again he did it. After all the wait and curiosity of seeing new raw talent, NESCAFÉ Basement has started dropping songs and they are amazing. Allaaaw kardiya is dafa!
From giving us the timeless cover of “Tere Jeya Hor Disdah” and “Tere Ishq Mein Jo Bhi”, the show is back with a bang. This time with 73 very unique artists and a true promise of diversity.
The second NESCAFÉ Basement song is a walk down memory lane with Haroon Rashid’s “Mehbooba”
Who doesn’t remember the original version of this song but NESCAFÉ Basement nailed it. Man! We loved it.
A labor of love, the video shows how everyone involved seems to be having fun in recreating the Arabic infused melody. It feels so good that how all the artists are singing and dancing, feeling the melody and basically just having a good time.
People have been frenzied about the song bringing them back to the good old days.
Mehbooba is gonna blow up, NOSTALGIC AF BROOOO!!!
It is the diversity in the line-up that makes “mehbooba” the true message of coexistence and teaches us how when we shed our differences, we are truly united by culture and music.
