Karan Johar’s infamous talk show, Koffee With Karan, always gives us a load of unheard gossip and an inside look at what goes on in our favorite celebrity’s mind. The recent episode was no exception, where Sonam Kapoor was a guest along with her siblings, looking as captivating as ever.

Amongst all the secrets spilled in the notorious Rapid Fire round, one answer particularly struck our fancy. Karan Johar coyly asked the starlet to pick an actor she would look the best on-screen with, Sonam first asked her sister Rhea to answer. But before her sister could respond, her brother Harshvardhan quickly said, “Fawad.”

Sonam Kapoor was Fawad Khan’s first Bollywood leading lady when he debuted in Khoobsurat. The two on-screen characters shared an extraordinary affinity to such an extent that Kapoor was among the numerous other eminent names from Bollywood who sent Khan their great wishes after the trailer release of his up and coming film, The Legend of Maula Jatt.

Anyhow, with a twinkle in her eye, Sonam quickly agreed with her brother’s response and talked about the good chemistry they shared while working on Khoobsurat. Moreover, she implied how she would have loved to work with him more, as she said, “Yeah, but Karan sent him back.”

This was obviously a jab at Karan Johar, in terms of how there was this controversy surrounding his Fawad Khan starrer, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Just before the film’s release, Pakistani actors were banned in Indian films. Following this answer, the look on Johar’s face amusingly priceless! He did try to redeem the damage but it was already out there. To ease the situation, Sonam also added Salman Khan’s name to the list, saying she enjoyed working with him in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

What do you think of Sonam’s genuine choice? Let us know in the comments!
