Sabyasachi has surprised many yet again by making a debut in the make-up industry & that’s not all. The brand collaborated with the beauty cosmetic giant L’Oreal Paris. The classy 21 piece collection is the talk of the town, for its festive feel & the iconic shades.
A shear glimpse of luxury & class paired with a whole lot of simplicity is what this collection is all about, as Sabyasachi took on to Instagram saying “For me, classic is iconic, because classic is unforgettable,” the designer said. “The whole world is moving toward a state of effective simplicity where classic will lead the way. Makeup will be more about a stronger, lasting identity. A winged black liner with a bold red mouth offset with a simple sari and wind-swept hair is perhaps an iconic Indian beauty look.”
The eye-popping campaign, with the glam queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was shot at the Eiffel tower Paris.

Sabyasachi shared how the idea for the packaging came along.
“It is sometimes funny how things just come together. We were all in deep discussion about the new packaging and nothing was quite working out. I wanted something simple, yet strong. One of the ladies in the room was taking notes and her fountain pen (they completely enamor me) caught my eye. She said it was a graduating gift from her grandfather. I started smiling internally. The L’Oréal Paris x Sabyasachi packaging was taking shape.”
