I saw my first fashion show at the age of 16 in Hyderabad.

It was the first show of its kind in this small sleepy town and the audience was not prepared for it at all. Sitting in the front row, I saw aunties strap on their moral policing badges and uncles trying to act horrified to hide their glee at scantily clad models walking the runaway. Ever since that day, I realized how horrifyingly dull fashion shows are if you have no idea who the people walking the shows are. Now I snort pop culture like frat boys in the US do drugs, so you can see me giving my two cents on everything from the Victorias Secret show to Fashion Week.

The above-mentioned rant now brings us to the point of this article which is Fashion Week International in Doha. This event brought together Pakistan and India as celebrities from both countries walked for ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra while our very own Nabila was the official makeup and hair artist for the show.

From India. walking the ramp for Manish Malhotra was none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who still looks as breathtakingly gorgeous she did years ago.
WHAT IS THE SECRET TO THIS AISHWARYA?
WHAT ARE YOU HIDING FROM US ???

I have no comments on the dress cause I am trying this new thing called ” If you don’t have anything good to say then don’t say anything at all”. So you can just determine from the context that I don’t like this, at all.

However, the cutest thing was that Aishwarya’s mini-me Aradhya wore a tiny version of the same dress that her mother wore. And I am not gonna lie that for a brief moment I thought “Wow, aren’t children adorable?” but that thought process was immediately replaced by an image of a crying, snotty children.

From Pakistan, we had Sadaf Kanwal walking the ramp in a blue Manish Malhotra creation.

Other Pakistani celebrities that were seen at the show included Hamza Ali Abbasi and model Hasnain Lehri.

Here are more pictures of the star-studded event to give you major envy.
