It took over 22 years of struggle for Imran Khan to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. He surely did sacrifice quite a lot for this country & it was an overwhelming moment for the nation as well as for people like Jemima, who stood by Khan through all the thick & thins of his struggle.
Jemima Goldsmith’s heartfelt tweet for IK right after his victory clearly tell us how happy she was for him to become the Prime Minister.
22 years later, after humiliations, hurdles and sacrifices, my sons’ father is Pakistan’s next PM. It’s an incredible lesson in tenacity, belief & refusal to accept defeat. The challenge now is to remember why he entered politics in the 1st place. Congratulations @ImranKhanPTI

Many people admire the support of Jemima towards Imran Khan; however, Gohar Rasheed took it a step further by starting a petition to invite Jemima to the oath taking ceremony of the new president Imran Khan.
Gohar tweeted: “It is my humble request to the foreign ministry to please invite Ms. #JemimaKhan as an honorable guest in the oath taking ceremony of the new #PrimeMinisterOfPakistan we all owe her a special thanks due to many reasons this would be a best tribute to a sincere friend of Pakistan”.

Gohar received amazing response from people on his tweet & the majority loved the idea.

Surely Jemima doesn't need an invite. She is the mother of the PM's sons.
